Subscription Terms

Version 1 · Effective 3 November 2026

In short

  • Plans are bought for a company and managed by its admins.
  • A plan renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or yearly, until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time from the company's billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and the plan's benefits stay active until then.
  • Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not refund the current period, except as described in the Refund Policy.
  • We email company admins before a plan renews, with the amount and the date.
  • An introductory price covers only the first billing period; renewals are charged at the regular price shown at checkout.
  • If a renewal payment fails, the listing stays visible for a short grace period and is paused if the payment is still outstanding after it.
  • If a plan's price changes, we tell you at least 30 days before the new price applies to your renewal.

These terms apply to listing and membership plans, the subscriptions a company buys from Outsourcea. They work together with our Payment Terms and Refund Policy.

Who manages a subscription

A plan is bought for a company by one of its admins. Any active admin of that company can see the plan, cancel or resume it, update the payment card and download invoices from the company's billing page.

What a plan includes

Each plan's benefits are listed on the pricing page and at checkout, for example a directory listing, a number of service slots, or a platform fee rate. A directory listing also requires a verified company: paying never replaces verification.

Billing periods and automatic renewal

Plans are billed monthly or yearly, in advance. At the end of each period the plan renews automatically for another period of the same length, and the payment method on file is charged the renewal price, until you cancel.

Introductory prices

Some plans have an introductory price for the first billing period. It applies once per company per plan, only to that company's first subscription to that plan. From the first renewal on, the regular price shown at checkout applies.

Renewal reminders

We email the company's admins before a plan renews, with the amount, the renewal date, how to cancel, and a link to the Refund Policy.

Cancelling and resuming

  • Cancel at any time from the company's billing page.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Until then, the plan and its benefits stay active.
  • Until the period ends you can resume the plan, and it keeps renewing as before.
  • Cancelling does not refund the current period, except as set out in the Refund Policy.

When a renewal payment fails

If a renewal payment fails, we tell the company's admins and the payment is retried. The listing stays visible during a short grace period. If the payment is still outstanding when the grace period ends, the listing is paused until the payment succeeds. If the payment still cannot be collected, the subscription may end.

Price changes

A new plan price applies straight away to new purchases. For an existing subscription, we tell the company's admins at least 30 days before the new price applies to a renewal. If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before that renewal.

Changing plans

To move to a different plan, contact us and we will help you switch without paying twice for the same period.

When a subscription ends

When a plan ends, whether by cancellation, refund or an unpaid renewal, the company returns to the free allowance described on the pricing page. During a launch period announced on the pricing page, a directory listing does not require a plan.
